The Centre for Labour Laws Research serves as a dedicated platform for advancing scholarship, policy dialogue, and capacity building in the field of labour and employment law. Through its academic activities, research initiatives, seminars, workshops, and stakeholder engagement programmes, the Centre seeks to promote a deeper understanding of contemporary labour issues, including labour codes, industrial relations, social security, workplace rights, and the changing nature of work. The Centre also aims to facilitate evidence-based research and foster collaboration among academics, policymakers, industry representatives, trade unions, and civil society organizations to contribute meaningfully to the development of labour jurisprudence and public policy in India.

The Centre for Labour Laws Research functions under the guidance of its Faculty Convenor,(Dr.) Shantanu Braj Choubey, and Faculty Co-Convenor, (Dr.) Shweta Mohan, whose academic leadership and mentorship continue to shape the Centre’s activities and vision. The Centre is supported by a dedicated team of student office bearers and members who contribute to its research, outreach, documentation, and organizational initiatives.

For the current tenure, Mr. Avinash Verma serves as the Convenor and Mr. Sumit Kumar Singh as the Co-Convenor. The Secretarial Team comprises Mr. Divyansh Singh and Mr. Akshat Kumar. The Research Vertical is led by Mr. Parikshit Kumar, Mr. Rahul Raj, and Mr. Kumar Astik, while the Social Media Vertical consists of Ms. Umbul Munda and Mr. Adhiraj Sahgal. The Documentation Vertical includes Mr. Semon Sarkar and Ms. Ananya Pandey. Mr. Milind Khande and Mr. Aradhya Akshat serve as Event Heads and Coordinators for Public Relations Outreach and PLV/JHALSA/DLSA activities. The Commissions and Ministries Vertical is represented by Ms. Trisha Raj and Ms. Kanu Priya. The Documentary Vertical comprises Mr. Vishal Dang, Ms. Aishwarya Singh, and Mr. Abdul Gani Bareen. Together, these members play a pivotal role in furthering the Centre’s objectives through research, academic initiatives, stakeholder engagement, and the dissemination of knowledge in the field of labour law and allied disciplines.
